You really feel some &JFA on this song. Those power chord groves & transitions are similar. Very powerful song. It could easily fit on &JFA if you produced Shadow Follows like that classic album production. TBH I would hate this song to change, this is the definition of perfect heavy metal.

I broke down crying the second time I heard this song while watching the lyric video here on YT. I'm a 54 year old Death Metalhead who still loves the 70's rock as well. After hearing so much anger driven music most of my days this song took me by surprise completely. I love the references to a higher power and I do believe it's a song about psychedelics, as the lyrics do mention "tripping" a number of times. I think it's about finding a spiritual connection to God through the use of shrooms or the like. I've been there, and it saved my soul and made me a spiritual man after years of emptiness. I've only done them a few times but the positive affect was surreal. That's why this song brought me to tears. I lived what my personal interpretation of the lyrics meant. It is a beautiful thing and a wonderful, positive soulful song for the desperate times we find ourselves in. God bless this band and may they inspire more young bands to bring Rock music back with a vengeance.

I cried when I say your poor cat you had to put down ! I also lost my Caesar last year due to kidney failure. He was 18 & had only 1 kidney working for 15 months ! Your poor baby & the sad state your poor cat ( photo you showed ), was the exact same state that my cat Caesar was in at the end. I miss him so much & he was the best cat I ever had ! He was exactly like my soul mate & much more than just a best friend ! I know exactly how you must feel & I do feel for you buddy ! You seem like such a good kind dude so hang in there it doesn't really get easier & no matter how many days will past remember Cats are mystical & very spiritual ! Never stop talking to your cat, he is always there with you, trust me, after a while you will notice strange things, your cat will let you know somehow that he is still with you ! Be open & just believe & the rest will eventually happen, I promise you ! Respects my friend I am really sorry for your loss ! I'm convinced your cats ( babies ) are more to you than just family . There's just something about cat's that no other animal have & only having had cats long enough those people like you & myself will only know !

Besides the cars and fabulous sound things I notice as I guy who has done photo work there, no concrete barriers, all armco, no run off in 8 and all the locations off track yet to be developed to where it is today. Still the same great track. I think '94 may have been before the bridge to get to the outside of 8. There was a gate that would be opened between sessions and people could walk across. Good memories. Fitting closing was the spectator " Come on Jacque!" his first win was about to happen. Thanks for sharing.

I’m sorry I can’t agree with you, this is a different mix in a different age, comparing it is a waste of time, it’s like comparing yourself now to yourself when you were young. I found this utterly compelling, and in a way i didn’t miss the guitar player with the fuzz pedal….the words and his meaning are everything, I like both versions…

He's 80 looking back DSOTM was the break throw album and the last one he felt as a band.

The thing with Nuno, is that when he emerged (1989) - he literally rang rings around every other guitar player on earth - (imagine frank Zappa’s son wanting to release a solo album) - Nuno produced it, rescued it, and as Dweezil said “”stopped it being shit”

WOW. I agree, this should not have been done. I’ve listened to it five or six times and I don’t understand why Roger has reissued a classic album of DSOTM. It’s a shame because I really like RW. I think it’s an album in my collection of PF that will fill the gap on my shelve never to see the record player again. It’s a shame🥺🥺🥺

It is wrong to take one of the most perfect albums of all time, announce that it was YOUR project and so you are releasing your own version the way it should have been... Roger I love your solo work every single album I enjoy listening to all of them, but what you have done here is proven yourself to be the megalomaniac everyone accuses you of being... Granted you wrote the majority of the best floyd lyrics but your ability to compose music is light years behind David and Rick's abilities... If this was released 50 years ago it would not have sold a million copies... Give props to where they are due and acknowledge that Pink Floyd was a band you were in and it took 4 members to make Floyd music... Just grow up already you're 80 man, yet you act like a child with your bullshit... Dark Side Of The Moon forever it's 50 years old and this is garbage... You may sell a few million copies but it will be out of curiosity not of respect for the project... No one will wear out their vinyl copy of this garbage... Subscribed...

This song is way to over rated. It's a long song with just the same verse over and over . That's so boring that's not how you do a long song . Their other long songs are better

These guys have kicked ass from the early 90's! I goof on everyone that has only heard "more than words" that are listening to the new stuff and are amazed......go back and listen to their older stuff. They're in their late 50's and early 60's, for them to be pulling this off, AMAZING! Keep in mind, they're albums is always all over the place musically.

It's just pityfull. Just listened to the full Album for the first and hopefully last time. I was 17 in 73... 2023, I still listen to the original Dark Side of the Moon... I still discover new musical landscapes everytime... how to perfect a perfect work of Art, what an IMENSE ego this guy has. But there's simply nothing else left. I rest my case.
